USQ Campus Quad Entrance Upgrade
Rejuvenation of an existing entrance to the University of Southern Queensland
The USQ Quad Entry Upgrade project involved the rejuvenation of an existing entrance to the University of Southern Queensland.
Undertaken to create a defined welcoming entrance to the campus, major elements of the project included the pouring of off form (Class 2 finish) seats and planter boxes, new pavements, vertical metal battens with unique lighting elements and additional soft landscaping.
As always, undertaking a project such as this in a live university environment creates challenges with site safety and noisy works. This was overcome by our team building a great relationship with the university project delivery staff and working together as a collaborate team to get the project done on site and in a safe manner.
This project was completed within a two month timeframe.
