Queensland X-Ray South Toowoomba
Newlands Commercial Construction was entrusted with the pivotal task of constructing a cutting-edge Queensland X-Ray facility in South Toowoomba, aimed at significantly enhancing healthcare services in the community through the integration of advanced X-Ray, CT, and MRI technologies. Innovation was a cornerstone of this project. With only one construction plan provided, Newlands took the initiative to create a finishes schedule and elevations, leveraging our extensive experience with Queensland X-Ray. The complex nature of the building necessitated on-site adaptations and redesigns of essential systems, including electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, data, security, CCTV, and radiation monitoring systems. These were meticulously crafted to seamlessly integrate with the facility’s unique layout and operational requirements.
The trust Queensland X-Ray placed in our project team to replicate and complete this project from a single layout plan speaks volumes. This trust extended to matching the exact teak colour and finishes seen in other Queensland X-Ray practices. Newlands’ craftsmanship shines through in every detail, from the intricately curved flashing behind the reception desk to the bespoke joinery in each room.
This project was completed in a 5 month time-frame.
