Pittsworth State High School Multi- Purpose Hall
Newlands Group were entrusted with the design and construction of a versatile multi-purpose hall at Pittsworth State High School, aimed at supporting curriculum delivery and serving as a central gathering space for the local community.
The project involved the design and construction (D&C) of a new single-storey multi-purpose hall, which included staff office spaces, a staffroom, kinesiology lab, single court, kiosk and amenities. New interconnecting covered walkways, ramps and landscaping were incorporated to seamlessly integrate the building into the surrounding environment. Modifications to the existing front car park were also made, including the addition of three new car spaces.
The project team also carried out upgrades to external services, including fire and hydraulic systems, as well as electrical improvements. Essential services such as security systems, communications and ICT infrastructure were extended to support the new building. Additionally, the team skilfully managed the demolition and reinstatement of the existing cricket pitches.
This development not only enhances the school’s educational facilities but also establishes a central hub that benefits the wider local community.
The project was completed within an 8 month timeframe.
