Longreach Water Mains Upgrade

Newlands was contracted to conduct the replacement of existing water infrastructure for the Longreach Regional Council.

Project requirements included the exposure and removal of existing water infrastructure to allow for the replacement pipe to be installed while maintaining a live connection. The supply and installation of 2,025m of 100mm PVC-O pipeline, 1,061m of 150mm PVC-O pipeline and installation of 77 hydrants and valves were completed on budget and ahead of the original predicted timeline.

This project was completed within a 4-month time frame.
