Lockyer Valley State High School Storm Water Works

Earthworks to divert water from buildings

The scope for this project consisted of a series of works around solving ongoing stormwater issues the school had experienced where in the event of a heavy downpour overland flow would result in water entering existing building and causing damage.

Minor earthworks were undertaken to divert water away from buildings and a series of underground stormwater pipes were also installed to divert water away from buildings. Retaining walls and concrete footpaths were also installed to assist in rectification of previous damage to buildings and other structures on site. Our site staff worked closely with the school to ensure access to all buildings were kept open and safe at all times during the construction works.

This project was completed within 6 weeks.
