Highfields Sports Park, Stage 2

Newlands Group was contracted to construct the second building of the overall Highfields Sports Park precinct after successfully completing Stage 1 of the project. The building consisted of two levels, the ground floor level which included four change rooms and general store rooms, and the top level featured a club house kitchen, a meeting room, and toilets. The structure required bored piers and strip footings ground slab and the wall structure consisted of feature coloured honed blocks. The first floor is a suspended concrete deck and the roof line has been dragged down to give an architectural feature.
