Gowrie Creek Trunk Sewer

This project was undertaken on behalf of the Toowoomba Regional Council and consisted of the construction of a new gravity sewer line located at Gowrie Creek near Toowoomba. The overall length of the new works was approximately 3km in total and consisted of pipework ranging from 900Dia up to 1200Dia and extensive concrete works to the receival chamber at the Highfields end of the project.

Works were undertaken by both Newlands direct labour force and a select group of specialist subcontractors.

The project was completed within an 8 month timeframe.
