Fogarty Building Locker Hub

Newlands were contracted by St Joseph’s College and Toowoomba Catholic Schools to transform the Fogarty Building into a dynamic Year 7 hub lockers and amenities. The works included the demolition of numerous classrooms and a full height glazed façade to the lower level, installation of a new full height glazed façade to the upper level and incorporating gender-neutral bathrooms. Throughout the construction process, Newlands prioritized the safety and accessibility of the live school environment, minimizing disruptions to students by managing material deliveries and ensuring access to surrounding classrooms. The refurbished Fogarty Building Year 7 Hub stands as a testament to the school’s commitment to creating an inclusive and innovative educational environment. It exemplifies how thoughtful design and construction can positively impact students’ daily lives.
