Carrington Road Trunk Sewer

Newlands were engaged by Toowoomba Regional Council to design and construct gravity sewer mains to service the growing Torrington area.

Newlands constructed approximately 1.2 km of a combination of 375 mm diameter and 450mm diameter Ductile Iron Cement Lined Gravity Trunk Sewer Mains. The works included two aerial crossings over creeks, a portion of alignment within the Department of Transport and Main Roads boundary, and varied depths of 2 to 4m.

The overall duration of this project was 6 months.
