Newlands Group was contracted to deliver a unique project for Boomaroo Nurseries, involving the construction of a high-tech nursery that integrated specific automation technology sourced globally, which had never been previously integrated. The complexity of the project required Newlands to quickly adapt and learn how to incorporate these advanced components while adhering to the strictest of tolerances.

To achieve the desired outcomes, Newlands employed a unique design methodology for the foundation pad to ensure its zero-fall requirement was met. The project required non-standard design parameters and a blend of construction methodologies, including domestic, heavy, and lightweight construction for the office, main shed and greenhouse.

From the outset, Newlands played a crucial role, assisting with site sourcing, preliminary design, and conducting the feasibility study. Our team also managed the Development Application (DA) process, secured the necessary approvals, and handled detailed design and documentation. Despite the technological complexities, Newlands successfully delivered the build on time and within budget.
