Adani Rail Crossing

Newlands, a prequalified contractor for the Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR), undertook the critical task of resurfacing the level crossing on the Gregory Development Road. This project was an integral part of the Adani, Carmichael Coal Mine and Rail Project, which involved the installation of a new railway line connecting the Goonyella Rail System to the coal terminals at the Port of Hay Point and Port of Abbot Point.

The resurfacing works carried out by Newlands played a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient passage of trains at the level crossing. Our experienced team employed their expertise and equipment to deliver high-quality results within the specified timeframes with minimal disruption to the travellers of the Gregory Development Road.
