‏‏‎ ‎Now this is not something we get to do or see every day!

Here’s a short video to celebrate our success of the Ross River Dam project, fantastic job to everyone involved.

The Ross River Dam project consisted of running approx. 500 meters of poly pipe out into the dam to provide aeration to the dam to assist in managing water quality. The aerator is similar to that found in a fish tank but on a larger scale.

The project presented several challenges that the project team had to overcome  such as joining and transporting 500m or so of poly out into the dam, crossing roads on top of the dam, constructing concrete support slabs on extreme embankments and working in and around the public.

Through efficient collaboration and proactive management with the client and contractors the Newlands team was able to make the project a great success completing it on time and on budget for council.
