We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our growing civil construction team and support the successful delivery of projects across the region.

This is a site‑based role suited to someone who enjoys being hands‑on, working closely with supervisors and project managers, and driving quality, safety and program outcomes on civil construction projects.

About the Role

As a Site Engineer, you will provide engineering and technical support across all stages of project delivery. Working closely with Project Managers, Supervisors and subcontractors, you will help ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications, programs and quality requirements.

You will play a key role in coordinating site activities, managing documentation, supporting construction planning and ensuring compliance with WHS and environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day engineering support on civil construction projects
• Assist with construction planning, sequencing and programming
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers in conjunction with site supervision
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality standards
• Manage and maintain site documentation, including ITPs, permits and records
• Support cost control, progress tracking and reporting
• Assist with survey coordination, set‑out and verification of works
• Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and project requirements
• Identify and proactively resolve on‑site issues

About You

You’ll be a motivated and capable civil engineer with strong site experience and a practical approach to project delivery.

You will bring:

• Qualification in Civil Engineering
• 5 + years demonstrated experience working as a Site Engineer on civil construction projects
• Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies and sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Sound knowledge of WHS and site compliance requirements
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with site teams and stakeholders
• Valid driver’s licence
• White Card (required)
