Peter Trethewie is an experienced construction leader with over 14 years of expertise across both client-side and contractor roles, delivering complex capital works in healthcare, infrastructure, and commercial construction. As Commercial Construction Manager at Newlands Group, Peter is responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of our commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Peter’s strengths lie in project planning, stakeholder engagement, contract administration, and risk and construction management. His consultative leadership style and deep understanding of operational requirements enable him to build high-performing teams and foster strong, collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Before joining Newlands, Peter held senior leadership roles within Queensland Health, where he successfully led large, multidisciplinary teams through the delivery of major infrastructure programs.
