Townsville Early Oasis Early Works

The Townsville Oasis early works package consisted of external works to the existing Oasis Community Hub that supports ex-ADF personnel, as they transition into civilian life.

The scope included earthworks, drainage works for stormwater, roadworks, and concrete as well as water, electrical and NBN reticulation. This project was completed with a combination of both Newlands staff as well as sub-contractors. Consideration had to be made to allow safe access and work with the building contractor who was concurrently renovating the interior of the building.

Asbestos materials were encountered during the early stages of the project, and this was dealt with in a safe and timely manner by our project team.

This project was completed within 4 months.
