South Region Rest Area

Spread out across six separate sites located across the western Darling Downs, Newlands were contracted to undertake site, and construction works to create rest areas at each site. Works included site establishment, bulk earth works, road works, hydraulic services and construction of amenities buildings at each site.

Overall project delivery time constraints from our client meant multiple sites were to be worked on concurrently all at differing stages of design and delivery.

Newlands delivered these projects with a mixture of both self-delivery methods and subcontracting of some components of work. Major portions of these works were undertaken as a design and construct delivery methodology again due to the time constraints on the project.
