Highfields Booster Pump Station Pipeline Replacement

Newlands were contracted to design and construct an upgrade to the existing Mild Steel Cement Lined (MSCL) pipework and fittings, within and around the Highfields booster pump station.

Council sought to retain the original pumps from mid-1900s, which posed challenges to this project with Newlands designing and procuring specialised pipework to ensure no issues were encountered in connecting to the existing equipment.

Newlands and Toowoomba Regional Council worked closely together to ensure minimal disruption of the raw water supply line from Cooby Dam.

This project was completed within a 4 week timeframe
