Due to continued growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team.

About the Role
This is a hands-on role responsible for the servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse fleet of civil and transport equipment. The successful applicant will be confident working both in the workshop and in the field, with occasional travel required.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair heavy earthmoving equipment and fleet vehicles.
- Diagnose and fault-find mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
- Carry out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
- Complete work to a high standard while maintaining accurate service records.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Travel to various sites as required to support field service operations.
Essential Requirements
- Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
- Strong knowledge and experience with:
- Caterpillar Excavators
- Caterpillar Graders
- Posi-Track Equipment
- Sound experience working on:
- On-highway trucks
- Light vehicles
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work unsupervised and manage your own workload.
- Current driver’s licence (HR licence advantageous).
