Due to continued project growth, we are seeking an experienced Grader Operator to join our civil construction teams across Toowoomba and surrounding regional areas.
This role is suited to a skilled operator who takes pride in precision work, safety and productivity, and enjoys working as part of experienced site crews on large‑scale civil projects.
About the Role
As a Grader Operator at Newlands, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of graders across a range of civil construction projects. Working closely with the Site Supervisors, you will deliver high‑quality earthworks, roadworks and final trim outcomes in line with project specifications and programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate graders on civil construction projects
- Perform final trim and detailed finishing works to required tolerances
- Operate graders with GPS / machine control systems
- Carry out daily pre‑start checks inspections
- Read and work from construction drawings, levels and specifications
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and productivity on site
About You
You’re an experienced grader operator with strong civil construction knowledge and a commitment to quality and safety.
You will bring:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience operating graders in civil construction
- Proven final trim grading experience
- Experience operating graders with GPS / machine control systems
- Relevant RII certifications for grader operation
- White Card (required)
- Valid driver’s licence
