With 25 years of experience delivering high‑quality civil and commercial construction projects, Newlands is a trusted name across regional Queensland. Due to ongoing project growth, we are seeking an experienced Civil Concreter to join our civil construction teams across Toowoomba and surrounding regional areas.
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working on large‑scale civil infrastructure projects and takes pride in quality workmanship, teamwork and site safety.
About the Role
As a Civil Concreter at Newlands, you will be involved in concreting works across a variety of civil construction projects, including roads, drainage structures, footpaths, pits, slabs and associated infrastructure. You’ll work as part of experienced site crews delivering works safely, efficiently and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct and install manholes, pits, drainage structures, and associated civil components
- Prepare, place, finish and cure concrete on civil construction projects
- Set up and strip formwork and install reinforcing steel
- Pour, screed and finish concrete to required levels and tolerances
- Work on civil infrastructure including pavements, pits, culverts and slabs
- Operate hand tools, power tools and small plant safely
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised worksite
- Follow WHS requirements, site procedures and quality standards
About You
You’re an experienced civil concreter with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safe, high‑quality work.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience as a Civil Concreter
- Experience in formwork, steel fixing and concrete finishing
- Ability to work effectively as part of a site team
- White Card (required)
- Valid driver’s licence
