Environmentally Responsible

The Newlands Group is continually revising our certifications to maintain compliance. In every project, sustainability and minimising our and our clients’ environmental impact is front of mind. Our Project Managers are specialised in implementing construction and engineering practice that minimises impact on the environment through a reduction of noise, waste, water usage and pollution in accordance with AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Systems.

Our Technology

We have invested heavily in IT infrastructure and the latest technology to ensure the efficiency, standard and consistency of our delivery is the best it can be.

  • Our graders and loaders are GPS enabled to remove the need for infield survey and staking.
  • All light vehicles contain IVMS to better manage our employee fatigue and compliance.
  • Our Integrated Management System is fully digital, increasing engagement and conformance with its requirements.
  • Employees time is recorded electronically reducing our paper footprint and processing time.

The attitude of the Newlands Group team is always ‘can do’ and the way in which they have both adopted and implemented Laing O’Rourke’s Health, Safety and Environment procedures has been greatly appreciated.
